Congratulations to the five Garin technology students who represented Garin in this year’s Science and Technology Fair.
Year 12 student Nick Pittar did particularly well winning the top Technology prize – and to coming second overall in the competition. His prizes amounted to $750. Nick’s project was a historical project of the Brook Sanctuary. He worked very hard throughout the year to develop a quality product which reflects his love for history, and Garin’s long-term commitment to the success of the Brook Sanctury.
Not far behind Nick were Isaac Thomas, David Swanson, Craig Lautenslager and Hamish Griffith. Every one of the Garin entrants received prizes, and followed up last year’s first placing with the top three places for Technology this year.
Excellent Technology – and a real credit to the students and their teachers! Well done.
