Great group of year 8s for 2013

On Friday 9 November 110 year 8 students came in to the College for a day of testing, fun, and introductions. After school they had their enrolment interviews and most parents stayed on for dinner and their first Garin meeting.

At that meeting Head Teacher John Boyce talked about BYOD and Garin – but his big message was a request for parents to get to know other parents – to talk to each other – to invite kids round home – and to call ahead when students were in each others’ homes. You can find his notes here: Year 8 Parent meeting 2012.
