On behalf of the Garin College community, I congratulate Zac Griffiths on being announced the Intermediate Winner at the New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards 2021. Zac travelled to Gore last week and fulfilled a dream. Zac’s generosity in sharing his gift of music with Garin is both humbling and simply outstanding. We recognise Zac almost weekly up front performing and collaborating with his fellow musicians to teach the whole school to sing and on many occasions performing to enhance assemblies, masses and prizegivings with his musical talent and prowess. Congratulations Zac on your achievement, we are proud of you and thank you for sharing your gift of music and song with the College.
