Today 11 chess players from Garin College competed at the Chess Power regional tournament at Waimea College. There were teams from Waimea, Nelson College and Motueka High, and Garin student Toby was 1st and Finn came 3rd in individual places. Congratulations to all those who took part, and especially Finn & Toby!
