Celebrating the rich diversity of cultures within Garin
Thursday the 4th of April was a huge success as we celebrated our Cultural Day.
- Students wore their traditional clothing or something that represented their culture for the day.
- We enjoyed lunchtime food stalls under Te Wharemaru – and experienced taste testing of food from around the world
- Kapa haka
- Students embraced the opportunity to carry out performances from their culture. There were a lot of games and crowd participation, which was received with such enthusiasm.
All proceeds from the day went to CARITAS, supporting feeding others around the world.
