We were blessed with a glorious autumn day on Thursday, 9 May, the day we hosted our friends from Queen Charlotte College for a sports exchange. Around 80 students represented our school in the day’s programme, which comprised netball, volleyball, football and basketball. Our students relished the opportunity to compete against teams from another school and won the exchange, taking out 1st XI football, senior A, senior B and year 9 netball, boys volleyball and boys basketball. Queen Charlotte College had the edge in girls volleyball and girls basketball, winning both of those games.
Our thanks to Queen Charlotte College for being such great ambassadors for their school, and to our wonderful coaches who willingly gave their time to come along and support their team on the day. Thanks also to everyone that helped with the exchange, including umpires and referees, and our Sports Leaders, Nga Amorangi leaders and sports committee.
