Congratulations to Harry Pugh and Sean Hillberg, who played strong tennis at the Tasman Secondary Schools Junior Tennis Tournament and won the boys division. Harry and Sean beat Marlborough Boys in the final 2/1 and Harry was unbeaten in the tournament. Congratulations also to doubles pair Evie Pearce and Ali Hemesath, who placed 4th equal in the girls division.
Last month Harry Pugh represented Canterbury at Nationals, which were held at Wilding Park in Christchurch. Playing No. 1 in the 14U team, Harry won all 9 of his matches and his team won silver, coming second to Auckland who won gold by the slim margin of 1 match. Awesome result Harry.
