Shave for a Cure

Jul 21, 2023

Why Support this Cause?

Eight Kiwis a day – adults and children – are diagnosed with a blood cancer or a serious blood condition. Living with blood cancer is challenging and difficult. Even patients who have lots of support from family and friends will need medical, financial and practical help. This is where Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand (LBC) steps in.

By Shaving for a Cure, and committing to fundraising – you are helping Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand  to do what we can for the Kiwis who need it most.

“Fundraising will help find kinder, more effective cancer treatments that will save lives. You’re also helping struggling patients and families with the practical and emotional help they need to get through cancer,” – Peter Fergusson, LBC Chief Executive

Registrations for Garin College’s Shave for a Cure for 2023 are now being called for.
