As the year begins, it is a joy to recognise the focus and energy our students have on re-establishing friendships and making new friends after the long summer break. Our Powhiri and opening Liturgy were the highlight of our celebrations this week, evident throughout the week has been a true sense of manaakitanga as we welcome our new students and all those returning to the College. The wairua of Garin is alive and well as caring, happy relationships are built between students and between teachers and students. Thank you to all parents, caregivers, whānau and members of our community who came along to celebrate and support of our students as we begin the New Year.
