Our Year 13 students have enjoyed time out of the classroom this week to attend their Y13 Journey “Summit” at Lake Rotoiti. Despite the heavy rainfall on Tuesday night, students enjoyed the warmer days that followed. Journey is an exciting way to start the year for our senior students as they begin their final year in Garin; the pinnacle of their schooling. On the Journey there was a clear focus on prayer and personal reflection throughout the week. Thank you to Whenua Iti outdoors for their leadership in the outdoors and particularly our staff, Markelle Ward, Henry Kersten, Simon Pimm and Abbie Wright for attending and supporting our students throughout the week of Journey.
