Enrolling for 2025 or beyond

To enrol at Garin College in 2025 and 2026, please complete our Enrolment pack.  You can either email our enrolment pack to, achieve@garincollege.ac.nz  or deliver it to the school office.

Garin College is a BYOD (Bring You Own Device) school – all Year 9-13 students need a computer at school next year. We have clear advice of what works best at Garin – and the likely cost of that ($400-500) here.

Key dates for this year

The Parent Information evening is where we look at what we offer as a school in 2026. This event is for parents, students and whānau on Wednesday, 16 July, 7pm in the College Gym. This presentation is aimed at parents/whānau.

The Open afternoon is where you can see the school running; parents and students can join us on Wednesday, 23 July starting at midday until approx 2.30pm.

2026 Enrolments closing date 22 August 2025.

The Orientation day for students enrolling at Garin in 2026 as Year 9 students is on Friday 14 November 2025. Students will attend school for the whole day. Nearer the time, we will email you some useful documents which detail information on the Orientation day programme. The official enrolment interview with next year’s whānau teacher, students and parents will be scheduled on the same afternoon.
