A mixed team of GATE students helped organize and run the Intermediate academic quiz during week 7. We used Waimea hall as the venue but due to Covid-19 restrictions numbers were limited so three further teams used Zoom to participate. The theme of the quiz was the 80’s and had questions including Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics and Society. The event was most enjoyable and noisy, it also had heaps of colour thanks to the fancy dress theme. Joseph, John and Blake worked hard as our team of MCs for the evening but many thanks goes out to all involved.
