The Post Primary Teachers Association (PPTA) has advised school boards that their members may take strike action on Wednesday 29 March 2023. This means that teachers who are PPTA members may not be teaching or engaging in any school-related activities on this day and students will need to work from home.
If the strike goes ahead, Garin College will endeavour to remain open to supervise students who are unable to be at home.
I will confirm what is planned as soon as we have more information from the PPTA on Monday 27 March 2023.
