Garin has run this annual event for a few years now and also dodged Covid on two occasions. On Wednesday, 3
November evening we hosted 16 small teams in the Brightwater hall. Members of the Koru learners helped write
the quiz and run the event sponsored by NBS. The theme was fairy tales and teams came in fancy dress and decorated their table for the evening. Despite being a very noisy night, heaps of fun was had by the Garin team and all participants. Prizes were awarded for best dressed and best decoration; the top team was one of the 6
Waimea Intermediate teams. Despite the precautions taken to accommodate Covid, the evening was considered a roaring success.
